We had lost contact for several years because I moved back to the city of my birth. Then I found her again, here on this blog. She sent me a copy of her poetry book and we began exchanging an occasional email. She joined in and responded to prompts I created on We Write Poems during January of this year. I'm babbling, sorry. Just too shocked for words. Please know that you and her family are in my thoughts and prayers. She was definitely one of the brightest lights in my short teaching career. I will miss her. You may contact me at:
lilka1946@yahoo.com (me email address) or here at my poetry blog:
http://soulsmusic.wordpress.com/

I am so sorry for your loss, for all of our loss,

Elizabeth Crawford KatchAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3293907612812115766.post-68581432896229728932014-01-13T14:04:10.657-06:002014-01-13T14:04:10.657-06:00I never thought of a Phoenix rising from wind debr...I never thought of a Phoenix rising from wind debris, but I love your imagery from beginning to end.

-NicoleRaven's Wing Poetryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08576438868694047958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3293907612812115766.post-63437507163121729732014-01-09T21:12:41.352-06:002014-01-09T21:12:41.352-06:00Your poem builds like the pressure of the storm. I just have to go for the shorter poetic words that my web friends write.

That's one of the reasons I started dabbling in Flash Fiction which limits word count from 100, 150 to about 200 words.
